Get the help you need with reading and writing by becoming an adult literacy learner. Get matched with a trained tutor who will work with you to achieve your literacy goals!
We work with your schedule and goals to provide a comfortable learning environment! All adults are welcome. We provide everything you need to jumpstart your tutoring experience!
We offer two services:
One-on-one tutoring: Meet with a tutor once or twice a week for at least 1 hour. Learning materials will be provided by the library and help you improve your reading and writing skils.

Northstar provides programs for basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online. Included are basic computer digital literacy standards and modules in three main areas: Essential Computer Skills, Essential Software Skills, and Using Technology in Daily Life.
